Withthe“mode”parametertheusercanchooseifthealarmsresetautomaticallyormanually.
Whentheresetmodeissettoautomatic,thealarmswillberesetwhenmeasurereachesthedesired
levelandthedelaytimehasexceeded.
Whentheresetmodeismanual,
theusercanresetthealarmsinthefollowingways:
1. Withthe“reset”optioninthealarmsmenu.
2. ViaRS‐232(orFLOWDDE/FlowView/FlowPlot).
Writingthevalue“2”toFLOWDDEparameter114resetsthealarms.
3. Whenthereadoutscreenisvisibleandanalarmis
active,thiswillbedisplayedatthetopof the
screen (see chapter 3.4.7). By pressing up at an alarm situation, the user can reset the alarms
fromthereadoutscreen.
Relay
The relays parameter sets the output mode of the relays. The user can choose between disabled,
enabledand
pulse.Whenarelayisactive,therelaycontactwillconnecttothe0Vsignal.

madevisibleinthereadoutscreenwithtwomarkersattheleftofthe

seriesarecalibratedonAir.Allotherpre‐installedgasesarecalculatedusinga
theoreticalconversionmodelwhichdescribestheflowcurveforothergaseswhichwillintroduce
additionalinaccuracies.
However,astheaccuracyoftheconversionmodelalsodependsonviscosity,pressureandtemperature,
specialattentionshouldbetaken
forgasesintheheterogeneousgasstatewherespecificheat,density,
thermalconductivityandviscositycanvarytremendously.
3.6 Zeroing procedure
TheMASS‐VIEW

hasazeroprocedureforeachindividualgas.Thezerofunctionpermitstheuserto
zerotheinstrumentwhenneeded.Pleasemakesuretheinstrumentiszeroedonthedesiredgasatthe
desiredoperatingtemperatureandpressureconditions.Itisextremelyimportantthatallflowbe
blockedandthe

®
isinastatic(NOFLOW)condition.SelectfromthemainMenuOption‐>
Fluidset‐>Zero.Pauseafewseconds,thenpressanykeytocompletethezeroprocedure.
