2 Installation
2.1 Unpacking and inspection
Checktheoutsidepackingboxfordamageincurredduringshipment.Shouldthepackingboxbe
damaged,thenthelocalcarriermustbenotifiedatonceregardinghisliability,ifsorequired.Atthe
sametimeareportshouldbesubmittedtoyoursupplier.
Removetheenvelopecontainingthepackinglist;carefully
removetheequipmentfromthepackingbox.
Inspectthecontentsfordamagedormissingparts.
BeforeinstallingaMASS‐VIEW
instrument it isimportanttoreadtheattachedlabelandcheck:
‐Modeltype
‐Powersupply
‐Maximumpressure
‐Temperature
Donotdiscardspareorreplacementpartswiththepackingmaterialandinspectthecontentsfor
damagedormissingparts.
2.2 Removal and return instructions
Whenreturningmaterial,arrangeareturnmaterialauthorisation(RMA)atwww.massflow‐online.com
andcompletelyfillouttheRMArequest.

Inserttheinstrumentintoaplasticbagandsealthebag
Placethebaginanappropriateshippingcontainer
Adddocumentation:

Failuresymptoms

Whenreturning
material,alwaysdescribetheproblemandifpossibletheworktobedoneontheRMA
request.
Itisabsolutelyessentialthatyounotifyyoursupplieriftoxicordangerousfluidshavebeenincontact
withtheinstrument!
Thisistoenableustotakesufficientprecautionarymeasuresto
safeguardourstaff.
Takepropercareofpacking,ifpossibleusetheoriginalpackingbox;sealinstrumentinplasticetc.
Note:
Iftheinstrumentshavebeenusedwithtoxicordangerousfluidsthecustomershouldpre‐cleanthe
instrument.
Contaminatedinstruments mustbe dispatchedwithafullycompleted 'declarationoncontamination
form',foundintheRMA‐formonthewebsite.Contaminatedinstrumentswithoutthisdeclarationwill
notbeaccepted.
